I’m also 20 weeks, I haven’t started shopping yet but I do have a registry ready in case I have a baby shower, someone asks, or just as a list to know what I need/want! I will start looking into buying the bigger stuff sometime soon though
21 weeks and just about done. Only need bottles and shampoo for the little one and I’ll have everything. This is my second and I know what I liked and used with my first so I just got what I liked and used. I’m having the same gender so I pretty much have all the clothes I used with my oldest so I only got a few new ones.
I have my crib/ changing table/carseat/ stroller/pack n play (which includes my bassinet). Need to still get diapers/clothes/bottles/etc. I'm also not having a baby shower.
I got my car seat already and a friend sent a few things off my registry. I have no family or friends in the same state as me so I sent the registry as soon as it was confirmed (by DNA and ultrasound) that we are having a girl. I still have 70ish items on my registry but I have enough stuff (clothes and blankets) to last a week or two just in case. I will have a baby shower in June/July and buy whatever is left myself. Still debating on full size crib or bassinet? Really going to give co-sleeping another go as it worked wonders with my daughter.
I have stroller car seat clothes shoes pack an play bedside napper travel bassinet a few bottles only thing i have brought yet was soaps diapers I’ll probably wait until she is born to see how big she is to decide if I’ll do newborn or size 1
I have enough stuff to get by from my daughter but 80% is pink or Christmas (she is a December baby) so I do want to get some gender neutral things since I think this is a boy (but we aren't finding out) We have an infant car seat base or I'd buy that soon. And I got a stroller wagon that I'm excited about.
By this point in my 1st pregnancy we already had the crib, changing table and dresser set up. But I waited for my baby shower to really buy little things.
@Gayle yes, I forgot to add that I’m not having a baby shower. We live states away from family and friends as well!
I started looking into buying stuff the day I saw those 2 pink lines. I might be crazy though. I told myself I would get as much as I could second hand and the stuff I can’t I put on a registry and hopefully I can get everything that we need. Having a baby is expensive!
I am 24 weeks and I have the nursery completely set up, most of his clothes, a play gym, stroller, diaper pail, blankies, and a few random little items. I definitely don’t think it’s too early just start small and my the time your close you will be well prepared without feeling like all of a sudden you have to do it all at once. It can be intimidating picking everything by out and knowing what to get (:
Doesn’t hurt to start. If you are having a baby shower it’s really nice to just make a wish list and then buy whatever wasn’t gifted. That’s what I did. I didn’t have to buy much because of that.
