It's reassuring to know, like I'll occasionally feel something abd be like is that it?? But I don't feel much and it's starting to worry me but this has helped thank you x
I was like this when I was around 22 weeks as I didn't feel him move until around them being a slightly bigger girl anyway😊 but you'll get used to how much your baby moves and your instinct will tell you if anything is wrong! Trust your gut always x
If you’re worried I would ask to go in just for the reassurance! You won’t be able to relax until you know everything’s okay otherwise x
I didn't start feeling movements at all until around 25wks and it took much longer for regularity. I went into triage at 24 to check things out and everything looked healthy, I just struggled to feel with an anterior placenta and first pregnancy. Everything is likely okay, you're still early on in terms of movements, but I'd say even if they're not worried, always go in and get checked out if you are. You can go as many times as you need and the reassurance will help your mental health which will be good for baby too Sending love and hope things get easier for you x
I didn’t feel much movement till about 25/26 weeks and then I didn’t feel much once it did start. It’s a massive part of pregnancy that I feel I missed out on, and I hope I don’t have this with my next pregnancy. Just remember it’s about what movement is normal to you… not to everyone else x
@Chloe literally as I posy this, the stubborn little bastard decides to move, he's like his father and loves being stubborn 🤣 been the same at every scan too 🤣
@Francesca this is very true, like my placenta is posteria and at the last scan he was rather low down hence not feeling much, I'm just convinced he's trying to make me worry cos as soon as I posted this he's having a party 🤣
@Cake I don't necessarily think i need to go in cos I do still feel him just not sure what's normal x
Things can change with a baby within hours. If you're ever concerned, call triage. Even if you've been up that day. Or the day before, or 6 days that week. Always always call. They would always prefer you call. Also. Every baby has their own pattern, it's not so much "counting kicks" now. It's knowing the 'pattern' for your baby. Before they have a pattern it's more whether you're feeling them less than you would the day before etc. Tbh my baby never really developed much of a pattern other than the fact that she would move at about 3am.
@Bethan he kinda randomly just decides to move like once or twice at random points throughout the day but sometimes I won't feel anything for hours and then I'll get one that's like hey mum I'm still good then I get nothing again for hours it's so odd.... Like he's going for it now but then I won't feel anything until probably 4pm tomorrow x
I don't notice a pattern in my baby moving, I'm 27+3. He does move a lot which is probably why and I have a posterior placenta x
