@Iesha yes
@Iesha it's a genetic test that you find out if there's chromosomal abnormalities in the fetus but it can also tell you gender
Well I Just took Blood Today at my Appointment and they Told me I Find Out the Gender in 3 Weeks When the Results Come Back & I Turn 10 Weeks Tomorrow
Had a gender test at six weeks and I’ll have my NIPT at 10 weeks which I will use to confirm the gender from the 6 week test
I was told I can do it at my next appointment I’ll be 10 weeks 4 days — but the sonogram technician said it’s better to wait til I’m 15 weeks through sonogram so I’m lost 😞
If you want to get it early get it at your 10 week mark
All you have to do is blood work
Got a gender test at 6 weeks and you can get a nipt test as early as 8 weeks!
@Annie can you do both ?
@Kamryn🇲🇽 this is why I’m asking I’ve seen where people say you can get it as early as 8 weeks others say as early as 9 weeks and at my OB office there is a post where it say as early as 9 weeks and when I went for my first appointment at 9 weeks I got told i get to do the NIPT test next appointment because you have to be 10 weeks or more I think is what I remember. Like what so many different answers 😂
Different doctors have different opinions that's all, but I know for a fact you can as early as 8 weeks for everything to come back valid.
@Iesha my next appointment I can get my NIPT done and I’d be around 13 weeks
@Kamryn🇲🇽 that is true! For my first baby I went at 8 weeks and did not get the NIPT until the next appointment at 12 weeks and it was accurate!
Haven’t done mine but it is nonnegotiable. Thank god I reunited with my bio family. We got raggedy ass genes.
