Play ideas

Hello mommas, I have a 7 month old that gets bored quite easily and I have got no clue what more games to do with her. She doesn’t like tummy time and has no interest in crawling, she can sit up on her own and stands as well with assistance. She plays with her toys but not for more than a little while and then she gets bored, we have a walker and she likes it but again just how much can you let her in there, because I start to feel guilty about not doing more with her. The only interest she really seems to have is wanting to walk and go places but obviously she can’t just yet and it’s hard to do more with her. Any ideas? What other activities do you do you little ones?

When baby was smaller newborn I carried her in my arms as tummy time. This was a great way to get a little strength throughout the day. Perhaps get a jolly jumper? My lady is a great self entertainer. We go to a local baby play group and she gets to socialize and play with new things. We explore kitchen utensils and anything household that's safe when we're bored of toys. She prefers the household items more than toys. Also we love going to walks now as she can sit forward and get a front row view. We went swimming yesterday that was fun! Perhaps baby wear and do regular tasks? Good luck mama!

@Amanda thanks Amanda I try to take her out as much as possible especially now that the weather is nice. I should try and wear her when we’re out a bit more as she sure does like it. Maybe I should give a play group a go that should be fun for her as she enjoys being with other kids. It’s just hard as she definitely would just want to walk and run but she’s yet to learn to do it. I would say that the kids these days are so much more advanced and learn things so much quicker it’s like a race 🥹🤭

I went to baby play group this morning. It's a great way for baby to socialize and observation play other kids that are just ahead of her. Gives baby ideas of things and new skills to try
