Guilt
My baby is 5 weeks old and I accidently scratched the back of his leg when picking him up. My nails are short but looks like one of them has a sharp edge.
It looks like a deep scratch and he cried a lot. I've comforted and fed him. I've cleaned the scratch and it looks ok.
I feel so guilty to have caused him pain and feel like a bad mother.
Just sharing my feelings and hoping my baby boy isn't in pain 🥺

Don’t be so hard on yourself mama things happen and they can’t always be helped. There’s no need for you to feel bad and you’ve done all the best things a mama can do. My ex was cutting our 4m olds finger cutting his nails 🤷🏻‍♀️ these things do happen and it won’t be the last time
I have scratched mine's nose by accident the other day đź«
