I did when I first had a big amount of them! But honestly if I get one or two things from the store I don't wash it 😅
I do just because my last baby had very sensitive skin 😩 still dealing with it 2 years later
Yes, idk who touched them, how they were handled, packaged, if they ever fell off the rack in the store, the cart they touched, if whoever gifted it to us had pets or smoke that could irritate babies skin, etc
Look at the return policy first. Amazon is a year for registry items for example instead of their normal 30 days. So I would wash them once the baby is here and you know which sizes you need. You might be able to return a lot of newborn clothes if the baby is bigger for example if you wait to wash and keep tags on.
Always. I also never wear anything myself that hasn’t been washed yet, obviously after trying it on to make sure it fits. You just never know where it’s been or who’s handled it
Definitely. Unless like someone said, you think you might return. But always wash clothes before wearing them. I worked at a distribution warehouse before and the clothes and everything get stowed in some dusty, dirty bins until they’re ready to be shipped. They’re definitely on the ground who knows show many times and who knows what happened before it all even got to the warehouse.
My baby's clothes came from the store and online but I'm gonna still throw all her clothes in the washer. Rather be safe than sorry.
Ya it’s better to do it before and finish it before you have loads of dry clothes all over the house lolol
Yes, only because I know from whatever warehouse they started at, to store front, the clothes have likely been on a dirty floor, box or shelf. And they make some really lovely smelling, safe, baby detergent.
Yesssss
I did not.
Yes! I did! I don’t know who touched the clothes and to know there’s so many people out there with dirty hands. Who knows where people be putting their hands. Plus all these germs that are going around. Better to be safe than sorry!
Did they use a special detergent or the same one at your house? to wash the baby clothes.
Yes
I do!
