That’s a good point, I didn’t think of that, hopefully that’s the case. I was worrying incase I could have undiagnosed gestational diabetes as I’ve been feeling really thirsty and sickly the past week. But that might just be the recent heat. Xx
Same thing happened to me. I ended up having so do a weeks worth of blood sugar readings in case I had developed diabetes later in my pregnancy but all was clear and it was nothing to worry about.
If this is your midwife measuring its sooooo unreliable. All it takes is for baby to move position or for her to measure from a slightly different spot and it changes your whole growth chart. I’d take it with a pinch of salt xx
@Gaby well it was a student midwife this time as opposed to my normal midwife, so that could explain it.Xx
Yeahhhhh even more margin for error, don’t sweat it 😘
Even the growth scans aren't 100% accurate, my friend was told she'll have a 8lb baby ended up being 5lb 3oz, I've had growth scans from 32 weeks as was diagnosed with gestational diabetes later on in pregnancy our baby's growth has slowed down awaiting another scan as if its dropped then we will be induced, babies weight can fluctuate towards the end of pregnancy and can depend where they are situated, you're still in the right margins for normal weight so I wouldn't worry too much
Baby might have just changed position and be different shape? 😊
