Is this normal

First time using ovulation strips Is it normal for levels to drop that much in a day? I didn’t think my levels were high for long, only 2 days according to the app?

Hi, yes that’s normal and it’s pretty standard for it to be around cd14 for most people (but not all and not always). I get a surge within 12 hours that drops, so using clear blue I can go from nothing, peak, and then nothing again in 12 hrs so sometimes testing twice a day can help with a quick surge. Best of luck! 🤞🏼

@Laura thank you, I’d seen a few post where people had at least 3-4 ‘high’days so reassuring to know not everyone has this

Yes, you have a quick LH surge. In my opinion it's much easier to track ovulation. I'm like this as well.

Can I please be annoying and ask what app/what tests you're using please? This looks very helpful. My strip ovulation tests just don't feel like they are doing the job 🙄

@Lydia of course! It’s the Premom app but I’m just using some cheap strip tests I got off eBay, apparently the ‘Premom’ or ‘easy at home’ are better but I went cheap 😅 with the app you can use the camera and it scans the test for you and it picks up the strength of the lines, it does have little toggles if you need to adjust where the line is.

Ah amazing thankyou so much xxx

@Lydia I use the same app and use the easy@home tests off Amazon. With the different brand tests the numbers might not go as high but as long as the line is the same as the control or darker it’s a surge ☺️ xx
