Should we get a double stroller or make do with what we have?

Our 2nd baby is on the way and our daughter will be just over 2 when her little brother comes. We have an amazing iCandy stroller with a carry cot, we LOVE it and it was quite an investment, and we also have a lightweight buggy which is what we use more for our toddler these days. We live rural so we don’t do much walking as we’re in the middle of no where, and have to drive most places. Very rarely use the buggy for long periods of time for our toddler (we tend to let her walk holding our hand, and we mainly bring it as a bit of a back up plan in case she starts whingeing or getting fed up etc) I’m really not sure about whether to now invest in a double pushchair or not. I worry without one I will lack confidence to leave the house with both kids, but we spent a lot on the current one we have and don’t want to invest in another pram set only to rarely use it for our eldest. Any thoughts??

I’ve wondered the same thing and am in the same boat. We are considering getting a sit/stand stroller but aren’t sure yet

@Alyssa they’re just so expensive and bulky, and we invested so much into our initial stroller as we were not planning on having 2 so close together, but here we are 🤣 it’s a shame it can’t be converted into a double like some models can 😭

I had my second round same age as yours. And tbh she didn’t want the stroller. I ended up selling ours and since then she’s been walking wherever we re going

You can look for secondhand options as a way to try something without a big up front investment. Some places to look are Vinted, Facebook marketplace, and local buy/sell groups online or on WhatsApp.

I use the wonderfold wagon. It has an infant attachment you can buy separately. I use it all the time, it’s all terrain! I use it everyday to take my girls out while my husband is working.
