@Samantha oh thank you for that 😅 i was literally spinning out of my mind for a while! My son was born below the 5th centile so I was thinking that could possibly only be the reason for it but it’s so strange not to be told anything about it!
Yes, I’ve been told I ‘need’ growth scans too because the last baby was ‘small’… I’ll be rejecting them as I don’t think they’re necessary
@Chloe that’s fair enough! you’ve got to do what you’re comfortable with! i think i’ll take the scans but i wont be pressured into an unnecessary induction again through fear
@Maeve sure - it’s the pregnant woman’s choice! The vibes I’m having now I’m pregnant with #2 are completely different! Although I’m still tired I have to keep showing up for my LO and keeping him fed, milked up, and happy. I’m excited this time rather than scared. How are you feeling?
@Chloe yes i feel this, very excited but extremely tired. with my first my pregnancy was so easy, no symptoms, no other children so could just nap whenever i wanted. this pregnancy im sick all the time and i have a 14 month old who wakes me up at 6am for the day and does not let me sit in peace for a minute 😂 trying to explain to my partner what pregnancy tired feels like too, he’ll never understand the drain!
Maybe don’t knock it. I would love to have monthly scans.
Hi Maeve yes this will be the reason I’m having the same. My midwife told me 1st appointment you will be getting lots of scans as my son was 4t centil, we also had reduce fetal growth and problem with placenta. They are just extra cautious now. But you get to see bubba more often so I see it as a win win don’t panic x
