Percentiles

I had my 20 weeks anomaly scan today, and they seemed happy with everything, but they didn't tell me anything about percentiles? Is there a way for me to find this out, or to see baby's measurements?

Ask your midwife, she will look at the scans and should be able to tell you. Our sonographer did tell us but i had a question regarding something else so asked my midwife and then she re-confirmed. but our baba is sitting under the 5th centile so super small atm! X

Do you have printed notes or an app? Mine are printed and they put them on little lines / charts plotting the %. It doesn’t say the % but you get given the measurements so could look it up, but you can see where 50% is and how far they are above / below it.

No I didn't get anything printed, but I asked the sonographer would I be able to view the measurements on the My Chart app and he said no, they're just on for doctors to see? Lol. X

Do you take notes to the hospital with you, do you solely use an app?

I take notes to the hospital, but he didn't even ask for my folder, so I know nothing was written in it. X

They’re almost always miles off in accuracy so not all sonogrpahers or midwives want to share :)

I asked my midwife the same thing at me 20 week scan, but she said most babies are around the same size and stage of development now so it’s not something they look at, it gets more accurate in the 3rd trimester as that’s when baby gains weight and it proportions out differently in their bodies x

However, I go to a private scan place called Little Miracles, where they tell me the size and percentile. I’m not sure if All scanning places do this, but if you’re wanting to find out then it’s worth ringing some private sonographers close to you ☺️

If you use MyChart you should have all your reports on their, they upload everything while I’m still at the hospital with photos, blood results, measurements and percentiles etc

What section of the app would that be in? X
