Car recommendations

hiya i’m on the hunt for a new car but it is a minefield out there! we currently have a axkid one2 that would go in there and eventually a cybex infant carrier followed by another EFR seat. looking for good boot and cabin space too! i’m 5’5 and partner 5’7 so not tall tall. any recommendations from others or admin or what’s best at the moment. been looking at the tiguan and sportage so far. thank you!

Peugeot 3008 for sure. Beautiful and massive space

no sorry haha just the two! my first is in the axkid one2 but when i eventually have a second they would start in a cybex seat then move to efr seat

@Kiera the Skoda superb is hands down the best for cabin space, regardless of passenger size. I’d avoid the sportage personally, they aren’t very spacious IMO. Tiguan is a good option if you’re looking at the newer ones. Volvo, any really are great! Disco sports are ok Tuscan is ok Hyundai Santa Fe, heard the space is good Lexus RZ/RX range space is stunning Audi q5/7 xx

@Kiera amazing thank you so much this is very helpful!!

@Kiera if there is any chance of a third child in future where you might not be able to change your car, I’d look at the first list I attached for ease x

I’ve got a Tiguan which I love, great boot space and plenty of room in the back. Best piece of advice we were given: get the biggest you can afford.

X3

I have a seat ateca which is basically the same as a tiguan which i love. I don’t think you’d be able to fit a passenger in the middle with two car seats though so you might want to look at something a bit bigger if you think you’ll ever have an adult in the back with the children x

@vicky how do you find front passenger space with a car seat behind? I have an arona which I love but my husband is 6'2 and struggles, we hope for a second in the future so wondering if the size up is enough. Thank you!

@Amy honestly, there isn’t much leg room for a passenger! My nephew is 5’11 and was very squished the other day! I do have the max safe pro though which is bulky! X
