I had an anterior placenta with my little guy. I didn’t find it until around 16 weeks! When looking I went really low, not even on my stomach more by pubic area & went hard (probably not recommended LOL but that’s what worked for me!)
I have! I also had an anterior placenta and at my appointments and NSTs finding his heartbeat always took the longest. They had to press hard to find it because he was faced my back and curled up
My last child I had this, just took longer to feel movement but it's normal.
My first pregnancy I had an anterior and didn’t get to hear his heart beat until around 19 weeks and I had to press harder than I did with this pregnancy, you’ll also likely not feel butterfly movements until then as well so don’t get scared or panic! It’s totally common to not be able to hear the heart beat on an at home Doppler or feel movement until later in pregnancy because of the cushion your placenta is acting as between you’re belly and baby! Congratulations also!!! ❤️
Im 24 weeks and just started to feel my lil dude move
I wouldn’t worry too much 🤗 at home dopplers are renowned for being unreliable , in the uk we are encourage not to use them for this reason - they can cause more worry than anything else!
I had one last pregnancy I wasn’t able to pick up consistently until after 20 weeks
