I feel so bad! Baby got her first bumb

My baby fell off my bed because I left him on it while he was sleeping to go use the restroom. I even had the thought "I should put him in his crib just in case he wakes up so he doesn't roll off"... my bed is probably the highest bed I've ever been on. I felt terrible. And he only cried for a minute. I was worried the whole day

That happened to me once luckily I had been lazy and there were a few empty bottles of water so she landed on them versus the floor, and she did the same thing I felt bad so days. It sucks 😖

My toddler had slipped and hit her head at the table when she was 11 months I can’t even tell you how often she fell off the bed, because one, she is fast and reckless, and two, she will only sleep next to me 🥴 She fell on the playground a lot, sometimes even leading to a bleeding lip 😢 Baby tried to stand up holding onto a swing (why are they so fast?) and bumped her head Nevertheless both will try the same things again after a couple min of cuddling It’s part of them growing up and you’ll feel better/ less guilty about it We can’t prevent everything but we can forgive ourselves. Would you give your best friend a lecture or encouraging words?

Yes! It’s crazy how fast they are! And I know they gotta learn but it’s still hurts my heart, especially with her being my first it’s gonna take a while for me to get used to it lol

@Sarenna yeah they are unexpectedly fast 😂 @Jody I cried too. Like the whole day I would just start crying and apologizing to him. And I was so worried and thought "omg what if he forgot how to crawl??" Lol which is his newest skill. I even asked my mom and she said "well, he probably didn't, but you can get him checked"

Yup I my whole body was shaking, I held her while she slept for her next nap cause I just wanted to be close to her and kept apologizing and kissing her owie. I’m glad they’re so resilient she was crawling around and trying to stand on the same table she just bonked her head on within 10 minutes lol but now I’m watching her like a Hawk to make sure she’s acting normal, everything’s good except the bump on her head 🥺

There is this thing you can buy off Amazon it goes on like back pack and they look like little animals but it has like a little donut pillow at the top to protect there head it’s saved my daughter so much especially cause she’s pulling herself up on things. Definitely a good buy!! 🫶🏼

We actually got one yesterday lol she had it on too, she fell forward and bumped her head on the leg of the table cause her hand slipped when trying to stand.
