Is he tired maybe? My baby kept doing hunger cues but was actually just tired x
My baby does this and has been doing this since she was 8 weeks! She refuses a dummy so she sucks her sleeve or fist x
Mine does this when she’s tired
They start to realise they have hands and start exploring them, including chewing on them. Likely to just be developmental xx
Super common - they’re finding out they have hands!
My baby was the same she’s now 10 weeks and is doing ok! She just likes to chew them to help her go to sleep sometimes. I think it’s just their way of soothing themselves.
My baby came out the womb sucking very aggressively on her hand the sound filled the room 😂 she always has and no signs of stopping, I think it's a comfort thing for her x
Our baby does this when he is tired we originally didn’t give him a dummy but he then used one to help him fall asleep xx
it’s a form of self soothing and just them being curious and finding their hands and that they can chew on something as my little girl does the same she’s always done it but she has a dummy too so she switches depending on her mood xx
