Toy/Activity Recommendations

How are you occupying your toddler in the day, especially if you are screen free? I have 2 under 2 and am struggling to keep my toddler occupied while dealing with the baby. He is getting a bit fed up of his current toys, so I am looking for some new toy/activity recommendations, especially any that promote independent play so that I can have a bit of breathing room when dealing with my other baby.

My little girls favourite things at the moment are drawing / colouring (chunky wax crayons, paper, colouring books and her etcher sketch), sorting toys where she has to sort the right coloured things from each other (e.g, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0B6C8HFJR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share), interactive books (flaps etc) and now the the weather is getting nicer she loves just wandering around the garden!

Mine is obsessed with brio train tracks and train. Also likes colouring, loves stickers and starting to like role play

Also have 2 under 2 (21mth and 1mth) My little boy’s favourite thing at the minute are brio train tracks and trains which he’s obsessed with and also any toy construction vehicles. Magnatiles are also brilliant and very open ended! Also if you have a garden, make it as toddler proof as you can and get some outdoor toys as my little one can play for ages out there with water play equipment, little tykes car and mini slide, ball, seesaw rocker etc xx

The tonie box keeps my little one entertained for so long! She loves listening to the stories (particularly Julia Donaldson books) but you can get lots of musical/ dancing ones too x
