Mum Tum

Girls I’m fed up of the mum tum already. Has anyone started trying to get rid of it? Clothes don’t fit

10000% … today as an example, I couldn’t tell you how many outfits I tried on today go out and meet a mum friend… nothing fits or even if it does slightly I feel so uncomfortable… but can’t justify spending money on new clothes right now as I know it’ll be a matter of time before I do fit into old clothes again, it’s a hard transition though❤️

Girl, be kind to yourself. It took 9 months to grow your bump. Your body had to accommodate a tiny human, an extra organ, double blood volume. It will take time. My advice is to slowly get more active; up your steps, do gentle exercise, and tweak your diet so it’s healthy (er) But overall have realistic expectations. I’m not miles off my pre baby weight but I definitely won’t fit into my jeans as my physique is different. I’m still wearing stretchy trousers until my old clothes feel comfortable. 👍

@Jessica yes!!!! Whenever I go out it’s so hard putting on clothes. I’m the same and can’t be spending the money 😫 it’s getting me down!

@Laura yeah, I know I’m rushing it, it’s just hard. My pregnancy stuff is too big and my normal clothes don’t fit yet. So whatever I wear I’m uncomfortable. Don’t have the money to spend on in between clothes and just want to feel better about myself…I know it’s only temporary though.

I'm just starting to look into classes and things I can do at 5 weeks pp. Pre baby I used to love going spinning but where I went for it has closed 😥 I do a lot of dog walking so baby wearing which definitely helped after our first child. For now I bought a pair of jeans off vinted in a bigger size so I can at least feel comfortable and somewhat normal and they were a bargain!

I HATE it, I start postnatal Pilates this week and I can not wait!
