Birthday advice
I want to do something for my kids birthdays this year. Problem is, neither of them know anybody (including me lol). So I feel like a birthday party is out of the question cause I feel like it would be weird just inviting local moms since we don’t know them.
Would you feel like if it was weird if I would do that? Just so they would have other kids to celebrate with? I don’t even care about gifts. My daughter isn’t in school yet and I share custody of my sons so he’s in a different school district. I usually do my own party for him but now we live out here and I would like to stay in the general area.
Or do you have any ideas that would be good for a boy turning 6 and a little girl turning 5? 🥺
Not a lot of family either, so that’s sorta out of the question too.

Join your local moms group on fb and ask if anyone wants to have a playdate at your kids bday party.
Could you do a fun day out instead of a party? Do they go to school? Could you invite some classmates?

I just take my little guy out for the day and make it as special as he is every year I did have a party but it was just my close friends and family I talk to I don’t have anyone with children his age to invite yet but we’ve met a couple of people through library and this app that maybe I’d consider inviting next year If you have an aquarium or arcade or zoo nearby, that’s what we usually do
