Birthday advice

I want to do something for my kids birthdays this year. Problem is, neither of them know anybody (including me lol). So I feel like a birthday party is out of the question cause I feel like it would be weird just inviting local moms since we don’t know them. Would you feel like if it was weird if I would do that? Just so they would have other kids to celebrate with? I don’t even care about gifts. My daughter isn’t in school yet and I share custody of my sons so he’s in a different school district. I usually do my own party for him but now we live out here and I would like to stay in the general area. Or do you have any ideas that would be good for a boy turning 6 and a little girl turning 5? 🥺 Not a lot of family either, so that’s sorta out of the question too. We’re located in Bellefonte Pa

I just take my little guy out for the day and make it as special as he is every year I did have a party but it was just my close friends and family I talk to I don’t have anyone with children his age to invite yet but we’ve met a couple of people through library and this app that maybe I’d consider inviting next year If you have an aquarium or arcade or zoo nearby, that’s what we usually do

Join your local moms group on fb and ask if anyone wants to have a playdate at your kids bday party.

Could you do a fun day out instead of a party? Do they go to school? Could you invite some classmates?
