Snack and toys

Snooze shade was such a help for us in the airport and bright sun x

We went to Lanzarote in August last year with our 10 month old at the time. Definitely take snacks for the whole time you’re there as the pouches can contain added sugar. We took our own formula as my breastmilk wouldn’t stay frozen for the whole travel time. On the plane make sure they’re drinking something while going up and down. We did a bottle on the way up and a fruit pouch going down so his ears would pop. Take your own suncream as it is expensive out there. Look at hiring a highchair if your accommodation doesn’t provide one. Swim nappies are reusable if baby hasn’t pooped in it. Just dry them in the sun. We took 5 swim nappies for a two week holiday and still had a few left. We did a day trip to the Lidl for nappies and wipes which was really handy! We bought a clip on fan and an umbrella for the pram to keep baby cool too.
