Depends! With my insurance I have to go to my primary doctor for a confirmation and referral to my OBGYN. I was also like a 3 week positive. So I waited a week to make sure my lines were solid and then scheduled my PCM apt, so was around 5 weeks when I went there, then around 10 weeks when I got in at my OB
call asap in case there’s waitlists or something. better to schedule in advance for those appointments
Call asap because there’s usually super long waits to get the initial appointment. They won’t see you til 6-8 weeks but it’s good to get on the schedule
They usually don’t schedule you until you’re 6wks pregnant. But you can call to set an appointment for then if they schedule appts that far in advance, it just depends on doctor availability & schedule.
