@Sophtha thank you! Under the 10th, that must have been scary! Glad it worked out ok. My first baby was 6 lbs 11 oz at 39+3 so a little small, I think around 34th percentile overall. Baby #2 might be small but I definitely wasn't getting enough protein and doc told me to stop running and no heart rate above 140. He suspected I might be doing too much and not eating enough. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ we'll see! I've started supplementing my diet with 2 high protein boosts a day and laying on my left side for 15 minutes after meals (another doc rec) Hope your pregnancy is going well! How are you feeling?
https://www.earthfedmuscle.com/products/strawberry-feels-whey-protein This is my favorite because you can put it in water or milk and it tastes amazing. It’s all super clean ingredients too.
@Alessandra I was talking about this pregnancy The MFM specialist wasn’t concerned and said that it was likely babies position. I‘m of course but try not to worry too much. Otherwise everything is fine :) Interesting with the protein. Which ones do you take?
@Sophtha I've started with the High Protein high fiber Boost shakes because I was familiar with them, but I'd like to switch to something with less sugar and more natural ingredients. I also have been taking collagen peptides a few times a week as a protein shake from vital proteins. That would be such a relief if it was just the baby's position! My doctor didn't mention that. The legs were the only part throwing off the overall percentile with everything else measuring around 20-30th so maybe it is position? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I hope so!
@Mackenzie trying this! Sounds yum 🍓 thank you !!
So glad to hear the previa resolved, what a relief! I’ve heard around this time babies start to settle into their own growth curves. Was your first on the smaller side too? Are they planning another scan to check in again? I had a scan at 22 weeks and baby was in the 54th percentile, then dropped to 28th at 26 weeks with head circumference under the 10th, so I get the stress of watching those numbers change.
