Baby toys in hold luggage

A bit of a stupid question, but can you have baby toys, like electronic books and musical toys (battery operated ones), in hold luggage when traveling? We're going away for a few weeks and we really want to bring some of LB's favourite toys, but I don't know what's allowed and what's not. They say not to put electronics, like laptops, in hold luggage, but are the toys allowed? Who could I ask?

If it has a lithium battery it has to go in hand luggage so that includes batteries like AA etc. Hope that helps 😊

@Abi Thank you for your response ☺️ What if I take the batteries out? I'm just asking because the 2-3 toys we're considering are a bit bulky so they would take up too much space in the carry-on...

I think if you'll be fine but might be worth double checking with your airline 😊
