We went away for our daughter’s 1st birthday, was absolutely fine. There were a few others at similar ages too on both flight out and flight home
@Gemma honestly I’ve never been so stressed in my life, just the thought of it. Especially now my girl is soooo on the move & she doesn’t like sitting on us for a long time 😭
@Georgina if it helps we’re going away in July and I’m also stressed at the thought of it 😅 We took baby away in September and it was a breeze when they weren’t mobile!
@Jen yeah I feel when they are not moving as much & sleep most of the time, it’s not an issue. My little one is so intrigued by everything and anything, she’s easily agitated also😅
@Jen I also worry too much about people around me, when I shouldn’t.
It’s totally fine. We have flown all over the world with our kids since they were tiny and never had an issue (or been bothered by other people’s kids)! You will be fine. Take loads of snacks and entertainment. They generally love flying it’s so exciting for them!
@Naomi thank you 🤍
Please don’t listen to those and everything will be fine. Also if baby has a meltdown, it’s not the end of the world. Getting to your destination is the ultimate goal 😜 Don’t worry about upsetting people around you, your little one has a right to be there as much as they do. Pack lots of snacks and entertainment and enjoy your trip 🎉

My 13 month old was absolutely fine on the way there and back, 4.5 hour flight
I took my eldest when he was 15 months and he was walking. I went solo as my partner had to work and it wasn't that bad. He slept for part of it then we walked up and down, watch some shows on my phone, I had some toys like spinners for the window/tray table and lots of snacks 👍
Nooo it'll be fine. And worth whatever happens to get away ⛱️☀️ lots of snacks, couple of new toys, and to be honest they will probably just be intrigued by the noises, people on front and behind etc. Have a wine in hand and all will be well.
