Feeling stressed

So at work today my work collegue asked me how many weeks I am. I said I’m tuning 20 weeks in 2 weeks and she said to me am I sure if I’m pregnant. This is caused me so much anxiety and worried if I’m having a misscariage my scan is in 2 weeks and unfortunately I can’t afford a private scan atm 💔💔💔

Why would she ask that ? Have you not had any scans yet ? X

What a stupid thing to say. Is that cause you don’t have a bump? With my first I had no bump at all until close to 26w even then I could easily hide it with clothes. Don’t listen to silly comments, people just don’t think x

Why would someone say that to you??! That’s so awful

Asking about your pregnancy and then making you doubt your pregnancy & body is so strange and unnecessary to me😵‍💫 I’m guessing you have had your 12 week/dating scan? As long as baby was healthy & happy at that scan, there’s no reason to worry so please hold onto that little bit of positivity and ignore the silly comments x

Please don’t worry. I have a healthy two year old boy and I remember the dentist telling me when I was 24 weeks pregnant that ‘I didn’t even look pregnant.’ I went home and cried about it so I totally get your fear. I just…didn’t look pregnant. At all. I think it only became unmistakable around 26/26 weeks maybe? And I’m not some super skinny super athletic woman. I have the core strength of a jellyfish. My baby just hid away. I’m at the level of petty that I’d report her to HR. What a pointlessly cruel thing to say. You are FINE.

People are stupid sometimes . She doesn’t know anything , you had a scan saw baby, you know baby is there unless you have any other reason to think that. With my first I didn’t look pregnant for ages. When you get further and are showing people will manage to say insensitive things in a different way. I know it’s hard but try to take with a pinch of salt because sometimes people just don’t think before they speak .

Thank you everyone It just really took me by shock how cruel people are
