Handing notice in at work after maternity leave
I’m due to hand my notice in to work next week to give my 4 weeks notice. I have worked there for 12 years and only received statutory pay when off and my 9 months is due to end at the end of May. I’m right in saying, that you don’t pay back at stat pay? It’s only if you’ve had enhanced pay you need to? Just looking to confirm before I hit the button on the email. Thank you ☺️

Yeah from what I’m aware of that’s correct, stat maternity you don’t pay back. It’s just if the company you work for offered enhanced maternity you would owe that back x
Yes that’s correct, stat pay is not required to be paid back at all.

I had enhanced pay and didn’t have to pay anything back. It’s just down to the employers policies
