Health visitor appointment
Has anyone had the health visitor yet? What do I need to prepare? I’ve cleaned the house and the beside me cot is in place. I have washed most of their clothes and have my hospital bag nearly fully packed.

Had mine ages ago! As Andreea said, they don't go round inspecting the house, it will be just a chat x
Yes I’ve had mine. They won’t go round looking at every inch of your house. They may ask to see where baby will be sleeping so they can talk about all the safe sleep rules. Most of it is just a sit down asking how you are, how you’re planning on feeding and ask if you need any support with anything. Xx

Mine decided not to bother coming as apparently “I’d done it all before” 🤣🙄 but last time it was just a nice chat and she wanted to just see where baby was sleeping x

I’ve had mine this morning. Don’t worry about baby clothes, nursery etc. we just sat down and talked about breastfeeding , birth, mental health, if you have a support system etc. they shouldn’t go round your house to inspect it x
