Needed to rant

So I had my 12-week scan today, woke up excited. Had to drop my 3 year old off swimming (my sister took her) then got to hospital 20mins before appointment. Now the hospital is doing the car park and adding some new building so spaces are very hard to get. I was driving around in circles, after 15 mins I found a space, the car behind me went to the other lane whizzed passed me and parked in the spot. Obviously I was fuming but trying to keep my cool.... driving around again for another 15 mins and passengers where getting out the car and standing in an empty spot so no-one could park there... I'm sorry do you not know what a que is??? At this point I'm now super stressed to the point I have thrown up all in the car and all over myself😔 I'm sitting there crying as I really don't want to miss my scan amd I'm just angry. I see a gentleman just sitting in the drivers seat I asked if he was going. But no, he was sitting waiting for his wife. I literally dumped the car behind his as I'm now 35 mins late for my appointment, gave him my number and sobbed to him, I'm so sorry but I don't want to miss my scan (I have had 8 miscarriages previously so I'm anxious as it is) he said its fine and let me park there. Luckily, I got to my scan in time and got to see my beautiful baby, what was supposed to be a beautiful moment was just ruined. I went in stinking of sick heart rate through the roof and sobbing. God knows what the receptionist was thinking! Anyway the parking people took a picture of my car so will probably get a ticket, but I got to see my baby and baby is healthy and growing strong. Just a shit experience. Sorry about my rant but I really feel it's ruined such an amazing experience

Glad you made it in time and got to see baby. I’m also in Worthing and know the feeling with the parking there 😩 x

@Stacey honestly it was so streful, they have car parking staff that just sit in their office watching netflix! Why don't they get out of the office and direct cars. They are all high and mighty giving tickets but to actually help people god forbid it will take away their screen time!

Aghhh I’m sorry ! 😭 man it’s like this at my hospital. I’ve learned now to leave at least half an hour purely to find a parking space. Even on the surrounding streets it can take a long time to find one and then a long walk When I was in labour I had to find a space in the nearby streets and then power walked about 10 minutes in to the delivery suite 😂😂 I kept stopping to wince through contractions 😂

That sounds like a nightmare I'm so sorry. But also so pleased you got to see your lovely healthy baby ❤️ please do contact the hospital though and explain the shambles and get them to contact the parking people for you so you don't get a ticket!!! Completely unacceptable
