A non IGE milk allergy will not show up on blood tests as the body does not create the same biochemical reactions as the reaction tends to happen in the digestive system not the blood. Most cases of cmpa are non IGE. Bloods will also not like show even an IGE egg or soya allergy this early if baby has not been exposed as most allergies happen as a result of frequent exposure and not often on the first try. The only way to confirm a non IGE allergy is elimination and reintroduction. Private companies are well known for offering these tests knowing full well they will give no useful information!!
Thank you for the information :)
around 6/9 months you will more than likely be contacted by a dietitian who will go through the milk ladder with you once they feel like your baby is ready to start, it’s best to continue with the nutramigen until you are advised to stop
