Pre eclampsia

I went to triage last weekend and they said I'm pre eclamptic again (2nd pregnancy). I'm currently 37+3, last time I ended up having my baby via c-section at 37+5 due to failed induction/pre eclampsia. However my section this time is booked for 39+4, (was booked before diagnosis) I've got to go for a check tomorrow again for my Bp/bloods, so was going to ask anyways. But surely if I'm definitely pre-eclamptic they'll want baby out sooner than I'm originally booked for? They've not mentioned moving my section yet. Anyone else had pre eclampsia?

I don’t have pre-eclampsia although was tested for it, I was under the impression they induce between 37-38 weeks when you’re pre-eclamptic? I’d definitely bring this up x

That's what I thought cos that's when I had my last baby, I'm only opting for section cos I don't wanna be induced again, I said either natural or c-section, but with the pre eclampsia now I don't think she'll come on her own beforehand x

Yeah I’d definitely bring this up with your midwife or doctors girl cause that’s a bit worrying theyve not said anything to you about your section date. When I did some research (cause I had swelling in my hands and feet, headaches and buzzing in my head) it said they induce between 37-38 weeks and don’t like to go any further than that so definitely bring it up just to be on the safe side and see what they’re thinking xx
