Have bugaboo butterfly also. I like it but I'm tall (5'7) and my partner is taller and I feel like I'm slouching alot with this pram. Also I don't believe it's cabin approved, at least I got it taken away at the gate (ryanair and British airways)
I suppose you should check with the airlines. We flew with jet2 and Lufthansa, they had no problems. We took it in the cabin and it fit very easily as well.
The Ergobaby metro is really good!
We tried the Bugaboo butterfly and my 1 year old son loved it! It's lightweight, cabin friendly and easy to fold. We rented it from round about (sister company of merry go round) so we didn't have to buy one just for the trip.
