Anyone got high bp ?

I’m on medication for hypertension I went on Tuesday for a hypertension appointment and my bp was 158/80 they just upped my medication and took blood tests , I’ve checked the badger app and everything came back normal 🙏🏼 it is a huge worry I had my last baby at 36 weeks due to pre - eclampsia setting in fast they have booked me in to have baby between 37/38 weeks just waiting on the post man to deliver my date n time x

I don’t have any dates book in yet ….may I ask what you are on and how much ? My boy didn’t come till 39 weeks ….but I don’t want to wait till it gets to that point again as I felt so poorly !! And I’m already feeling rough as a dog arse atm. Sorry to hear you went to it too x

aww bless you babe that’s awful I told em straight I don’t want to wait I want baby out as soon as it’s safe to get him out so they agreed to book me in, I’m on lebetalol 300mg twice a day xx

I’m on the same but 200mg twice a day was only put on the other day …Does it make you feel sick and dizzy ? I honestly hate it xx

I had pre eclampsia with my first - born at 28 weeks, was left with chronic hypertension so have been on blood pressure medications since and all throughout this second pregnancy, I’m 32 weeks now, I have an elective c section booked for 39 weeks as BP stable on labetolol x

@Katy that sounds awful ….so sorry ur going through it all again, it’s horrible and draining. Sometimes I think my bp up because I waiting for it to be high. The tablets make me feel so sick x
