Thank you just wanna make sure it was safe
@Sage you’ll most likely be in a wheelchair while your man carries the stuff a nurse will push you out. It was like that for me
That’s great to know I appreciate it so much
I pushed my lil one put the hospital in his pram then transferred him over to the car seat whikst ny partner carried the hospital bags - they wouldn't let me leave otherwise (in case we dropped him in hospital grounds I guess)
Just please make sure the seat can be reclined back. A lot of these seats claim they are suitable for newborn babies but are locked in an upright position which can lead to asphyxiation. Not all seats marketed as “from newborn” are actually safe and suitable. Also make sure to read the manual carefully there should be a section on newborn babies. And if you’re still choosing look at Swedish-safe car seats such as Axkid and BeSafe.
@Danni these ones recline back most of these types do because it’s a grow with me
@Danni that grey handle on the bottom is what you pull to lean it back
@Shynel that’s good! I just wanted to mention it as some do not and even when they do some parents do not read the manual and do not know how to recline them or that they should.
Car seats are so different in the UK! This type seat isn’t used until at least 3yo here.
@Cesca we have ones that look the same way and aren’t used until about 2 or 3. But if it’s a grow with me, it has modifications that allows you to use it from newborn all throughout.
Just carry her in your arms
