Toddler carry sling

Anyone used any of the toddler slings for side carrying? Like the wildride or senarah? Are they any good? And any recommendations on which one to go for? Going on our first overseas family holiday in 6 weeks and thought it would be handy for airport etc

We used a hippy chick occasionally which is good as quite cheap but these and the ones above are carrying 'aids' so deffo not hands free and the senerah is potentially dangerous- I saw a video from my local sling library where they tested the buckles and deffo not safe 😢 I tried a wildride at a sling library but it was super painful on my shoulder so found the hippy chick better. Maybe see if you have anywhere nearby you can try some on and loan one for your holiday? x

I tested the wildride at John Lewis (I think) and it was uncomfortable for me with my daughter. We have a cabin approved travel stroller which we took instead and had no issues with

I bought a hip seat for my LO and used it for the airport / travel when he wanted to be carried. It works as an aid - not hands free... but was perfect for me as I find it difficult to carry him for a long time otherwise.
