shocked at ultrasound picture
did anyone else’s baby look like this on their 12 week scan? sonographer said everything looked fine and was very dismissive when i asked her to explain why the chin looked so pointy. i have a tendency to cling onto anything i can to worry about, so am spiralling a bit x

I think it’s likely to be movements of the baby in general
It's just different angles and shadows etc x
Yes it’s just the baby moving as they’re taking the pic. My 12 week with my first looked like this and her chin is definitely not pointed in the slightest, she’s got a round face haha! Don’t worry x
I've just had my 12 week scan and I don't have a decent picture at all as the baby wouldn't lie down or stay still. Every picture they tried to get had a weird pointy or blurry bit... xx

I’ve just had my 12 week scan also- I was told during my scan to remember that the scan is like a ‘cross section’ of baby- I was worrying as I couldn’t see their arms until she said this! X

I think it’s normal to get images with parts looking a little strange as the ultrasound is to see a human inside a human which is hard! Baby is gorgeous🥹😍
