Hey Mummies, I just wanted to ask how many appointments do you get with midwife and how many scans do you get with the hospital in general? It’s a very long wait from 12 to 20weeks if I’m being honest.

This lists out all the appointments you can expect, you only normally get extra scans if there are any concerns for you or baby x
If nothing else is being checked, scan at 12 and 20 weeks. Your midwife will have given you an idea how many scans you’ll be having at your booking appointment when they work through which pathway you’ll be on. Midwife said appointments will be week 10, 16, 25 and then every 2 weeks from there x
If it helps, at least at my 16-wk midwife appointment they listened to the heartbeat which gave me enough assurance to wait for the 21-wk scan 😊
