Big baby!
Hi ladies,
I had my growth scan today. Last growth scan baby was growing as normal, this time round I was told she’s at the 97th percentile due to my GD!
I’m very petite and I don’t know whether that relates to anything, but I don’t know about vaginally birthing a big baby. I was told if she stays on the 97th percentile then they’d be happy to support me with a vaginal birth but discussed risks etc.
I may be looking at an early induction/c section. Any birth stories/experiences relating to big babies?

@Ebony-Rose oh wow! Were you induced earlier or was it a spontaneous birth?😯
Same thing happened to me - I had GD and my baby was measuring 50th percentile one week, then two weeks later I was told he was at the 98th percentile. I was induced at 39 weeks pregnant and my baby weighed 8lbs which was far smaller than 98th percentile
Spontaneous at 41 weeks x
