Hearing Screening
My son is now 5 months old but when he was first born, they did a hearing screening whilst he was on SCBU and it indicated a possible issue with his right ear, they basically said to wait until he’s older and see what happens.
Has anyone else had this? What was the outcome?

@Bethany they didn’t repeat my sons
Following as my son was born a few days ago and they repeated the test Three times for one of his ears and now we’ve been referred. Hoping it’s just debris and nothing serious
@Rachael they didn’t retest my sons :( they just said wait until he’s older and report to GP if any concerns
Call your GP and book and appointment x
@Bethany they won’t book an appointment until he’s older. It wasn’t a hearing test, just a screening. GP has already said that unless I have concerns about his hearing when he’s like 2-3 then they’re not interested
