How long did it take for you to successfully conceive after early miscarriages and what did you do differently?

I had x2 early MCs last year, no living children. Husband and I are 33, have had lots of testing done after being referred to a fertility consultant via the NHS and nothing is flagging up for us. Regular cycles, ovulation confirmed with blood tests, scans and BBT. We are cycle 8 post my 2nd MC and I’m just seeing negative test after negative test. Really starting to feel disheartened and would love to know if anyone has been in a similar situation - how long it took you to conceive and if you did anything differently? Thank you!

I always conceive the next cycle. CoQ10 will help.

I put him on 1000mg D aspartic acid 3 times per day, as well as wellman original multi vitamin and 200mg COq10. Upped my COq10 to 200mg 3 times per day (the body can't absorb 600mg in 1 go, doses need to be spaced apart). Sex at least twice a week even post ovulation, preferably every other day the entire cycle helps keep sperm healthy. Got pregnant again my first cycle after my loss, she's 3 now.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I’ve had 3 early miscarriages. One in Jan 2023, one in Jan 2024 and one in feb 2024. I also have PCOS and endometriosis and my cycles are usually very irregular but for some reason, they become regular for the next cycle after a miscarriage. I managed to conceive my little girl end of March 2024 and was prescribed progesterone to take between 6 weeks - 16 weeks (I had to beg, plead and fight for it though despite my history and anecdotal evidence from others that it helped them carry to term 🙄) I truly believe the progesterone is the reason I now have my happy healthy 4 and a half month old baby girl x
