One thing I’ll do it set a timer on my phone where it locks me out of all my social media for a certain period of time . So when that time is up I give that time to if it’s cleaning or playing with my kids .
I draw or write a couple notes to myself or my twins in my journal.
Exercise, outdoors, or indoors, movement helps me.
Gardening and being outside for me
Clean there's always something to be done, read it pull out a colouring book.
Cross stitch
crocheting, reading, yoga, coloring with my daughter or playing something with her that i actually like doing. listening to music and dancing
Is there a hobby you used to enjoy doing or could start? Drawing, knitting etc all quite good for sitting down activities :)
We love coloring together. It gets my toddler and I to both slow down, connect, and focus on one thing at a time. Sometimes my daughter will color while I play sudoku. Going on walks to our local playground for the swings is great too. It encourages us to have face to face time and I can really relax while pushing her. I’ll never be on my phone in a public space or during a walk so that forces me to separate from technology and appreciate my surroundings as well.
