I took my daughter to an outdoor concert at 5mo with ear protection. It was a great time! She loved it and she fell asleep in my arms 😂
I definitely don’t expect him to stay still just worried about how to keep him entertained 😂 but I think maybe by the time headliners start he will zonk out
Immediately Just go have fun
We took our LG to an indoor gig last month a few weeks after her first birthday. She had ear defenders and conked out asleep about 3 songs in (boob helped and she was in my wrap carrier). We didn't go into the main arena until just before the headliner went on (it was the final night of the tour so we knew a rough time). We're taking her to a festival later this month!
We’ve gone to a handful of concerts and events and expos and festivals before he turned 1, I just bring w whats necessary and make necessary adjustments to accomodate a baby but my life doesn’t stop because I have a baby, he comes everywhere w me in the daytime, at night he stays home w hubby while I go out w gfs. We took him to the state Royal show at 7w pp, hubby babywore him 70% of the time that day but yeah, take baby go have fun.
It is too much for such a young baby!!! Their hearing is much better than ours . Ear miffs help but not enough for a concert! A concert is over 110dband ear miffs reduce max 25db and only if they fit perfectly etc. 1 out of 10 kids has suffers from hearing damages because of this. I don’t want you to stop living but it must be child proof
@Gloria it’s an outdoor concert we are gonna do lawn area sit where you want at a venue I’ve been to before it’s a big distance from the stage/speakers and of course he will have protective hearing on I wouldn’t take him anywhere that was gonna be massivley loud it’s not some crazy sold out show either. My concern is just mostly for having him out for so long and maybe getting over stimulated/ fussy. the drive is 45 mins to and from then the show is 7pm-10pm its just something that we gotta fully commit to if we are gonna go
Take ear defenders/mufflers for his little baby ears! And DONT FORGET a HAT AND SUNSCREEN. as long as you do those he’ll be fine. I wouldn’t worry about the populated aspect really, but I can tell you in my Experience, my 12m old (well, any I’ve ever had) would never chill through a whole Baseball game. They demand to be set free, they actually get bored, and yell about it! Instead of just being portable little potatoes.
