Is it too early to take early scan?
I am now 6w4d. But my cycle is 35 day cycle. So typically ovulated around cd19-21. I am little confused to when book my early scan. I am planning to book on 7w0d. But my husband insisting to book on 7w6d since I have a bit longer cycle. .
I know the later the better. But I can’t wait to see the scan.
Do we hear a heartbeat at 7w0d based on my cycle length? Or should I listen to my husband and book later, that’s in another week.

I have a 31/32 day cycle and I had my scan at 7w0d. I was able to hear a heartbeat and see the baby on the scan
If it’s for reassurance I would do it. I had a scan when I was 5+3 (thought I was 6w) they saw yolk sac but too small to see heartbeat so going back when I am 7+3. It helped reassure me that everything was developing as it should be at that time 🩷
No go I did it at 6 week was growing health and had a healthy heartbeat xx

Hi no of course not you can request a reassurance scan from your midwife we got one for free through our local hospital and saw the heartbeat at 5weeks was amazing
