@Lizzie no she’s been on the 90th for the last two appointments so they aren’t worried as she’s staying consistent but I just really hope it isn’t accurate as I don’t fancy pushing a 9 pounder out 🤣🤞🏼
@Meg if you're worried, maybe worth asking for a scan? I'm hoping mine will drop back down, I don't want to be pushing out a beefy baby either!
@Lizzie I have a scan to check placenta position soon so she said to just ask them then 🤣 just hoping it’s not accurate and my bump is just measuring big (although I don’t feel like I even have a big bump)
I’m 97th percentile 😬
I was 89th at last scan and have a growth scans scheduled for 34 weeks. My son measured big all the way too, he arrived at 37+3 and 7lb2. They say the weight scan be + or - a LB
So should I be having growth scans if she’s on the 90th?
I had a scan at 28 weeks which said baby was on a 97th percentile. 😳 32 week scan next Tuesday, hopefully levelled out a wee bit by then
With my first I was above the 97th centile line the whole pregnancy and she ended up being 6lb 15oz so I wouldn’t worry too much! My bump ended up being all water ☺️

@Chloe did you only find this out after she was born or could they see she wasn’t that big from the scans?
I only got 1 growth scan at 31 weeks and from what I can remember they predicted her weight and it was around the 75th centile but even then it wasn’t accurate so I wouldn’t be too concerned about the numbers! She came at 39+4 so was full term too x
97th percentile at my last measurement, have another today so will see what that says. Then a growth scan next week so will see what they say there. I think she is just a long baby rather than big as her legs looked so long at our 20 week scan 😅
On my growth scan my little one is measuring on the 99.9th centile and is already 5.5lbs 😭🤣 lucky he's my second and will be coming out the sunroof like his big brother! 🤣

I was 97th and then 90th at last two appointments. I was worried she was going to be big so had a private growth scan on the weekend and she was measuring perfect to the day, not big or not small. Sometimes worth having a scan for reassurance xx
I was measured on 97th percentile at my 28 week appointment but have recently had a 4d scan and that had measured exactly the right size for the dates. I think the process of measuring is so outdated and there's recently been a trial published on big baby's which is worth a read if you're worried xx

Yes! I went to my 31 weeks appointment and id jumped from the 50th to above the top line! Measuring 3 weeks ahead. I've been booked in for a growth scan, but the midwife expects the dot to drop back down afterwards. Have they booked you in for a scan?
