Gifting teachers

Hello gals, mama in distress here. I’ve lost all my creativity after birthing my little ray of sunshine. It’s teachers appreciation week at his day care and I kid you not idk where to even start and I feel guilty for doing anything. Some moms have already brought in cute gift baskets and I wanna be different but my brain is not braining. SOS on creativity!

Ask them their favorite snack or drink! I’m a teacher anything you get I appreciate honestly

I think they’re getting grifts for all 27 of their staff 🥹

Along with anything basic (like chocolate, mugs or candles), I always get gift cards for a decent amount. Unfortunately, daycare teachers are underpaid and overworked, I’d say extra money in form of gift cards is definitely what most people need. I also brought lunch on one of the days and will bring coffee and pastries on Friday. My son also signs a holiday card for all our teachers. He just recently learnt how to spell his name so that’s fun for him.

If you just want to do your kids teachers I would ask at the front desk about the teachers. I got my kids daycare teachers gifts at Christmas and asked the front desk staff how many teachers she had and they had get to know you sheets for every teacher and what type of gifts they would want. Your daycare might have something like that. The daycare did a spa day for teacher appreciation week and they had a sign up sheet to buy items so I just brought stuff from there.
