Gender

Does anyone ever think 'what if the scan was wrong?' At my 20 week scan i was told they couldn't see anything between the legs when they actually looked and any other time they were close when checking other measurements there was nothing there so I was told it's a little girl which I'm over the moon about because we all wanted another girl but my mind keeps saying 'what if' I know it's just me and my over thinking though!

Can you book a private scan? I couldn’t wait for our 20 week scan so booked a gender scan at window to the womb :)

If it's any consolation, my husband wanted to find out the gender but I was always skeptical. I agreed for his sake, but I said I probably wouldn't believe it. Come the scan, before the sonographer even said a word, I was like "oh - that's a willy" 😂 there wasn't really any mistaking it. So hopefully, if it's not obvious that you can see a little penis, it should be safe enough to say it's a girl 😂 obviously I'm not a medical professional, and there are times where they can miss something, but all I can say is I definitely could see that my wee fella was a wee fella 😂. Literally me daily right now about our little girl 😂

I had the normal 20 weeks scan and booked a window to the womb scan both said girl and I’m still convinced she’s going to come out a boy 😂😂

Think they generally don't say anything if aren't fairly certain. Though it can happen my cousin was expecting her first girl and got a surprise when she had another boy. I think unless you are booked in for further growth scans you would have to go private for a gender scan if want second opinion though there is still no guarantee baby would not close legs again.

All of the time! I’ve naturally already started buying little outfits as I can’t resist and wondering if I will be able to swap if she comes out a boy instead 😂

You could always book a 3D/4D scan and find out for certain that way. I know they will check if you ask
