It depends on the individual. Some women like myself who have had losses in the past will choose to have an early scan for reassurance. X
Im 10 weeks and have had 2 scans already😅
I’ve booked to have a scan at 8 weeks so In just over a weeks time as I just want some reassurance that all is ok. It’s my first baby so quite anxious and nervous. Think if I know there’s a heartbeat then I will relax a little
Its personal choice, but in my previous pregnancy I had miscarriage at 11 weeks and everyone (Early pregnancy ward) was asking have you done the scan! So this time decided to do it to know more details.
This is my first & I had one at 7 weeks just to check everything was ok as I’m quite an anxious person. To be fair you can’t really see much at this stage but we did hear the heartbeat which put mine & my husbands mind at ease. Do what’s right for you x
We're not. It's makes the 12 weeks scan more special as you see a real baby rather than a little bubble. We only have the 12 and 20 weeks scan with our first (plus a few more as she was measuring small). But it made those 2 scans so much more special and more real being able to see a little baby on the screen
