Pass the parcel etiquette
Who should get the final prize? I grew up thinking it was random but recently all the parties I’ve been to have engineered it so that the final prize lands on the birthday child. I was going to avoid it all together but my 3 year old has started telling people there’s going to be pass the parcel at his party…
Also what do you do as a prize when you hate plastic, waste and sugary things (I’m such a spoilsport). I’m already doing books as a party bag.

For the main prize, we did a ‘paint your own…’ from hobbycraft. For the little prizes we did mini kinder bars because what’s a party without a little bit of sugar
Thanks for all the suggestions, I’ve gone for a Spider-Man bath bomb and tiny little packs of chocolate buttons.

Ooow, I thought it was never the birthday child that won, as they already get presents! I think it’s just engineered so a different child opens each layer! We’re the same with sugary stuff, could you do the fruit-based snacks like BEAR Paws as although sweet, it’s just from fruit juice? That’s what I put in party bags x
