Advice?

I feel the same way. I think most women probably feel that because we don't feel the baby yet. I find comfort in my achy boobs, bones, and heartburn that the baby is fine and growing. You could always get a private scan for some peace. Or I don't know at what point you are not allowed to go to the EPU for a scan? How many weeks do they consider early pregnancy to be? If you are allowed you could always get an additional scan and just say you're anxious

I get you. We ended up booking a private scan, spenny but justifiable especially in early pregnancy when you can’t feel them wriggling around yet! EPU see people up to 17 weeks at my hospital BUT they won’t see you unless you’ve had bleeding and/or cramping :( xx

I’m 14 weeks my EPU said they won’t see me it’s only upto 12 weeks😂I did have a private scan the other day and we have another one booked for when I’m 17 weeks so I’m just trying to not hammer them out hahaha I think it’s cos I’m in that awkward stage where I can’t feel them yet? But I’m defo taking comfort in the heartburn the nausea and everything else knowing they’re ok! And my little bump too hahaha it’s just so hard isn’t it x

@Peanut yeah I did the same the other day! And we have another booked for 17 weeks I’m only 14 weeks so it’s not far to go and I’m trying to not go crazy and book loads 😂it’s a difficult stage when you can’t feel them yet but I deffo feel pregnant ish still like I take comfort knowing my bump is growing and the nausea hunger and tiredness is all still there and yeah my epu only see you till 12 weeks so I’m in this awkward stage hahaha once I hit 18 weeks I’m under the MAU then x

I’m 14 weeks too! So far we’ve had a scan at 6 weeks 8 weeks and 10 weeks in the epu due to some minor complications and then the 12 weeks so feels so weird to not have had one again since the 12 week scan😂🤦🏻‍♀️I’ll be so real, I’ve not had many symptoms since the beginning apart from being so tired and feeling run down. Such an awkward stage of pregnancy😂😂xx

@Peanut yeah I also had scans then as well! I had a private one at 13+3 and baby is doing fine I just can’t help but wish we could know they’re okay in there hahah and yeah I think my symptoms have been very on and off like there’s days I don’t feel pregnant then days I do it’s weird it is!! Hopefully we will be feeling them move soon! I do have a midwife appointment to hear the heartbeat at 16 weeks so I’m hoping that goes all ok 🤞🏻xxx

We asked about the heartbeat at the 12 week scan and she showed us then…honestly prepare for the tears😂😂pregnancy is so special but at the same time it is so scary to try and just KNOW that the human inside of you is doing absolutely fine! So unsettling but yes I feel we will all breath more when we can feel our little ones wriggling around🥹🥹I thought I felt a flutter yesterday when I was laying in a super weird position but I farted about 30 seconds after so guess I’m just a gassy girly lol xx

Yeah, it’s one of the areas where I get the most anxiety! Such a long time to wait in between appointments without knowing everything is ok. Trying my best to take comfort in my symptoms and the little flutters I occasionally get. We had a private scan at 10 weeks and that was a huge help. They are expensive but sometimes you can get deals on groupon / wowcher depending where you are!
