yes definitely! much to be celebrated 🙌✨ i always thought it was just jehovah’s witnesses that don’t?

Hope. They weren’t Jehovah Witness. One of them said that holidays are pagan and not in the Bible

I don’t celebrate the holidays, I haven’t in years. I think Halloween is pretty obvious, the rest is more so a matter of things attached to Jesus that don’t need to be. I celebrate the feasts of the Bible with Jesus in mind. I def recommend doing your research. There are some pagan aspects to the holidays unfortunately on top of lots of misinformation. If you’re going to research this, I def recommend checking the source and looking at both Christian and non Christian sources so you can make your own judgment. Originally it was mostly jehovah witnesses who didn’t celebrate but I think since more ppl are doing their own research, they decide to turn away from the pagan aspects of the holidays or the holidays altogether I do want to point out, this is a personal conviction type of topic. Whether you celebrate or not, it doesn’t determine your salvation. But you should def know what you’re celebrating, the origins of each elements and why you celebrate and ask God what He wants for U

Romans 14 is a great scripture reference here. Definitely research into the holidays. And consider this chapter in scripture. :) In my family, I do most.. however, with a true Christian spin. We try to make Christmas more about giving than receiving because Christ gabe for us. Easter, we don’t do the bunny. We keep it about Christ’s loving sacrifice for us. Halloween, we don’t do as a family, though we also don’t prohibit our kids from getting dressed up for school functions. Things like that. :)

Read Scriptures, do your research , let God guide you 🙏❤️, then when you’ve made your decision remember don’t pass judgement on the ones who have chosen the opposite. Your decision must be focus on honoring God, giving Him thanks. I’m with @Heather 🌻 please read Romans 14, my favorite verse is this: “One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.” Romans 14: 5-6
