I’m super excited about it. ANYTHING that reduces the chance of my baby getting a fever in the first couple of months and needing a spinal tap is a yes for me. We’re having our babies headed into the worst time of year for respiratory viruses. My son had RSV at 18 months and it was so miserable. I do not want that experience for my newborn and so I’m thrilled that a vaccine has been tested and approved

RSV was really bad when my LO was born 3 years ago. Hadn’t really heard of it before but so many bubbas were catching it really bad. As we will have little ones who will be just starting to explore more in that season, I personally will definitely be getting it. My little one had croup a few times when he was really young and it was super scary. Definitely don’t fancy dealing with RSV

It’s not new globally just in the uk. People will tell you it’s new but it’s been in the US since 2023, I’ll be taking it as I know a couple friends who’s babies got severely ill from RSV and could’ve died. Thankfully they didn’t but were in hospital for a while xx

I'm the same @Rachel, my son was born at the end of 2022 and loads of babies were getting it and it felt like there wasn't much we could do to protect them so I'm so happy we can do something this time!

Its does seem like a good idea to have it doesn't it my other daughter was born in 2017 so it wasn't around then and knew nothing of it until it was mentioned last week at my scan hence the reason I thought it was a new vaccination obviously I was curious about what I was putting into my body for my little one all other Injections I had in my previous pregnancy but as I said this one wasn't around
