Me and My fiance have found it way cheaper for us to buy groceries for 2 weeks (some items can be stretched like corn dogs, garlic bread, pasta noodles) and minimize eating out as much as possible. Aldi tends to be a cheaper place for fruits and veggies. We also try to thrift clothing. You may also be able to find affordable clothing sold in lots via FB marketplace. We try to limit unnecessary trips to save gas as well
I am also on wic so I’ll admit that does help tremendously with fruits and veggies
We are on an all organic diet and that's a non negotiable. But we try to thrift clothes and buy second hand. We are switching the Internet/phone providers to lower bills. We don't have subscriptions other than Spotify and Amazon(no TV). We invest in a HYSA. We drive hybrid cars. We made our home more energy efficient through updates. 💸 I am just so sick that everything you buy here (US) has some cancer or birth defect labels, like most recently, our fridge's Water filters! I hate the feeling of cheap clothes and sheets - hello static electricity and sparks at night. 😵💫 Even my pregnancy pillow sparkles at night, omg!
